As my legacy system has been working to my satisfaction I haven't been checking the forums for updates. Currently I'm not able to use 110w at all and very few channels on 119w. I've been able to gleen that some thing with the transponders, something involving SD as opposed to HD, something involving changing the transponder on 110w to 21500, something!!! Please explain how to remedy this if possible, as well as specific instruction with respect to the "how to " end of the process.

I'm the problem, not the solution,

    Thanks,

    Freddie Hubbard

I'm having the same problems that you are! Have you had any luck resolving your issue? Everything that I'm seeing is pointing towards buying a new HD receiver...

    floder answered correctly.

coolsat 6000 is not MPEG4 compatable
Most all transponders from 110w and 119w have recently migrated to MPEG4 compression.

Your coolsat will not work for that.
There is one TP on 110w that may still be transponding in MPEG2 compression thou
I think it still is anyway :)

The 110w transponder 12.516 GHz is still transponding in MPEG2 compression with 20.000 MS/s as the Symbol Rate Frequency
Channels found on that TP are ....
    130 HDNMV
    163 VH1 CL
    231 RFDTV
    309 HBOLT
    321 SHOCS
    329 TMC -W
    330 TMCXW
    837 TLNOV
    867 BDMAX
