Running two DL receivers DL HD and a T-5.
After alot of reading about the 1000.2 needing more voltage than my DLs can supply I need help as to installing a power inserter in my new installation.
need a diagram as to how to install.
Antenna has 4 leads coming out to connect to three receIvers and a additional antenna in the fouith connection. Antenna has internal switching "western ark" for 110-119-129 sats.
Would like install inserter without another switch if possible.
I have read many pros and cons as to the best way to this.
If any of my statements are untrue please clarify.
I want to do this right. THANKS

Port one on the lnb head to the power inserter and the other two ports for receivers.

PORT ONE!! Put the power inserter there. Now the other two ports is for your two receivers.

explain what you mean by "port one"
Do you mean put inserter between receiver and line 1 of the 4 coming from antenna?

When you look at the three eyes and the eyes are looking at you there are four coax connections those are the ports. Put the inserter on the #1 coax connector and the two receivers on the next two connectors(ports). The inserter will not be hooked to any receiver just the lnb.
